We Have a Walker!

For a month or so now, Sawyer has been standing well on his own and taking one step here and there.  He had to be really motivated and also not realize what he was doing.  Several months ago I would have put money on him walking by his birthday - but cruising along walls and furniture was just too easy for him.  Finally last week it all clicked!  We were able to force him to take a series of steps outside, using his train toy as a bribe...

From that day to the weekend, we still had to "force" walking by standing him up and giving him some motivation to move.  Saturday and Sunday he really started getting up and walking on his own.  It's still not his 100% preferred mode of transportation, but we're calling it official now - we have a toddler!
