Sweet Sawyer

Sawyer is normally in a good mood, but yesterday he was especially giddy all day and just a delight to be around!  He slept in - last week he got up like clockwork at 6:45am, about an hour earlier than normal, which Jeremy wasn't used to (small problem, I realize this!).  We went to an early lunch at Cheddar's, where he flirted with our waitress the whole time and gobbled down green beans, carrots and lettuce in spite of the grilled cheese and french fries I ordered for him.  He played, we napped, ran an errand where he read his book and babbled in the car the whole time, and then we played some more.  He finally showed some interest in his little chair I was so excited to buy him for Christmas - he would grab a toy, then sit carefully in the chair (sometimes falling out, but that just comes with the territory), and then would pop up again to get more toys.  Jeremy and I ate an early dinner and Sawyer was thrilled to receive some fries through his baby gate, toddle to his chair, and eat his fry while sitting in it.  I know, toddling around and a baby chair don't sound exciting, but believe me - yesterday, it was! :)  Some pictures of my sweet boy...
