Halloween 2013

We waited until really late to get Sawyer's costume - we finally went the week of Halloween to the Disney store.  I thought I had talked Sawyer into Buzz Lightyear, but they didn't have his size, so he happily chose Spiderman.  Buying that costume is the best money we've ever spent.  He wore it every night before Halloween and many nights after.

This was our first Halloween in this neigborhood and our first time taking Sawyer trick-or-treating.  We walked to our friends' house around the corner then made a big loop with the group around our section.  Sawyer had a blast and was very serious.  He walked very slowly - he was tired and we walked pretty far - but he wouldn't skip a house and he wouldn't let us help hold the candy.  We had a lot of fun!  I remember it rained a lot that day and was showing 80-100% chance of rain, so we were worried trick-or-treating might not even happen.  We lucked out and the sun came out and it stopped raining in the afternoon so we could all enjoy the evening!
