Amanda Visits!

Oh we have missed Amanda living in Denver!  She does not miss us as much :).  We were all thrilled when we found out she'd be in Houston for a week for a work training class.  She sadly couldn't stay with us as her class was far away, but we still got to see her quite a bit!

Monday night when she got in town, I worked a little late and met her at City Centre for sushi, cupcakes and shopping (Kendra Scott and Anthropologie, of course!).  Tuesday night we had dinner with my dad and his family and Amanda at Champions on fried chicken night - the best!  Wednesday we had dinner with my mom at El Tiempo then she came over to watch our favorite show's premiere - American Horror Story.  Thursday she had plans with friends, and Friday we met for one last lunch at RJ Goodie's with my mom before she caught her plane back.

This was way back in October, and I have still missed her tons.  Her rotation in Denver is coming to an end next month and she'll begin a new chapter - working 28 days in Israel and rotating 28 days off back in Houston.  I will still miss her when she's many more time zones away, but am so excited to have 28 whole days to make plans when she's off here!  I believe she will eventually end up in Houston permanently in another year, so I look forward to that as well!
