(Christmas with my mom and dad's families)
After our morning at home and naps, we headed over to my dad's house for Christmas with his family. I was so excited this year Amanda was with us for each celebration - she was on a graduation trip in Costa Rica last year over Christmas and I really missed her!
Of course we opened presents first... and then I remembered why we didn't buy much for Sawyer...
| What an audience! |
| My dad bought Sawyer a 7-story parking garage... and Jeremy got to work immediately. |
| And then everyone helped! |
| Sawyer had a ball riding in a wagon outside with Alexander! They are good buddies! |
| On the way home from my dad's all Sawyer asked for was a race car blanket, which to his knowledge we did not have. A stroke of good mom-memory made me remember we had some old baby blankets with race cars on them, and Sawyer was in heaven. Ha! |
I didn't get a lot of pictures from my mom's house, but we went over there on the 26th for presents and dinner. We had a really nice time - Sawyer loves Mimi's house, but he was so tired toward the end!
| Not really asleep - just sitting still for a spell. |
| Loved the bubble wrap, and sitting in Mimi's lap. |
We had such a nice time celebrating with all our family in Houston, and not having to rush around too much. I ended up with a lot of time off from work, so it was a very relaxing few weeks in December. Sawyer was so much fun to celebrate with this year - I can't wait for next year!
