The Grammy Awards

I am normally not a huge fan of the Grammy Awards, but this year it was pretty entertaining - LL Cool J was a quiet enough host and not annoying, the tributes to Whitney Houston were lovely but not overdone, and I actually liked and listen to many of the winners (considering I never listened to Arcade Fire before they won last year!), plus they had the Beach Boys!!  What's not to like?  (Well, Nicki Minaj's performance, obviously. And an excess of Chris Brown.)

Typically a venue for crazy red carpet looks, I'm slightly underwhelmed.  There were lots of pretty neutral and black dresses, and some obvious weirdos (looking at you again, Nicki).  Here were my favorites:

Weird but I don't care, I like it!

I just love the lavender locks.  I can't help myself!

Katy Perry in Elie Saab
The dress is so lovely that I don't mind the blue hair.

And since it's a music show, my favorite performances:

Adele, duh.

I don't care for Bruno Mars on the radio, but I love seeing him perform!

Jeremy's all-time favorite band.  And I kid you not, he was sitting on the edge of his seat,
visibly nervous during their tribute and performance.  I think he was happy enough with it!
