This was Sawyer's first real "friend" birthday party (he obviously didn't have a lot of friends at his
first, and his
second was just family). Sawyer's class at school is all around the same age, with birthday starting in January through May, so we had been invited to 4 or so parties before his. The kids go crazy - they love seeing each other outside of school. Sawyer talked about the first party for a full month. So we booked the party room at a local church with 2 indoor play areas and a bouncy house. Sawyer was in heaven!
I picked the fire truck theme and found these adorable invitations on etsy. Sawyer was so excited when he saw the invitation! So that worked out well. :)

I think Sawyer had a fantastic time. I didn't see him almost the whole party, which says a lot of a typically clingy and shy kid who can be overwhelmed by large groups! In addition to his class friends, some of our kid-less friends came too, which was so sweet - Kevin, Justin, Sarah, Huynh and Pam. And lots of family - Lolly, Pops, Geeps, Honey, Alexander, Caroline, Sarah, Tyler, Mimi and Jim. We were just missing Jeremy's brother and my sister!
We had so much fun celebrating our favorite three year old! We rushed home to nap, then opened presents and rushed to another classmate's birthday party!
such a cute party- not surprised.
