One year ago, I took a pregnancy test when I was home for lunch. I could not stop laughing when I saw the result - "Pregnant" - after almost a year of trying, 2 failed rounds of ovulation drugs and shots, and finally deciding we'd try again in another year. I scheduled an appointment with my doctor, and ran to the UT Co-op to buy Jeremy some baby Longhorn gear. He opened the present after dinner and found a onesie, a stuffed Bevo and a positive pregnancy test. His joy and the smile on his face is something I'll remember forever.
Today I am typing this with a baby sitting in my lap, quietly whining because he's bored and sleepy. I have been cleaning the house because it's on the market and we're moving to Austin in a couple weeks. Truly, what a difference a year makes. I love this little baby so much and I am so thankful to be his mom.
