Summer Catch Up

Three more months went by, so it's time again for a quarterly update.  I left off with visiting my sister in Denver at the beginning of June.  The next weekend we met 2 families from Austin in Port Aransas for a beach weekend.  We didn't think we could make it with Jeremy's work schedule, but decided a week before we could, and Sam and Carrie were so nice to let us crash (and to upsize the house for our family!).  This was Sawyer's first beach trip - it's safe to say he was in heaven with his friends and the sand and water.  I didn't get to take many pictures because we were all having too much fun!

What else have we been doing for the past 2 months?

Went swimming and took naps.... sometimes on the stairs.

Spent time with family (here with Geeps).

Celebrated 4th of July in our new neighborhood with friends and snow cones.

Then were mesmerized by fireworks.

Met friends for dinner in town.

More snow cones!

Got to see some old friends.

Grilled and enjoyed time on our patio.

Spent time with my aunt and cousin in from Austin - Sawyer reading to Aunt Cara and his Mimi.

Took Sawyer to his first circus.  He was not impressed.

Napped some more.

Relaxed some, too.

Said GOODBYE to the 4-Runner (2001-2013).

Watered the grass.

Celebrated Emily's birthday...

and Jeremy's! (custom johnny football photo by me)

Texas sheet cake for Jeremy's birthday

Finally bought a rug for the living room.

Dixie is happy about it.

So happy.

I got a night out!

And said goodbye to Sean.

Found a successful way to grocery shop - open cheddar bunnies first.

Built amazing tent cities.

Relaxed some more.

Visited this family for the first UT game - Jeremy became best friends with Mary Mae.

Stella & Dot bracelet ankle party!

We're basically the same person.

Got some art for Sawyer's room - 6 more months and maybe it will be hung.

Got some quiet moments with this boy.

Fed some ducks.

Willed it to be Fall.

Rode the zoo carousel with Lolly and mom.

Chatted with the giraffes and zebras at the zoo.
